Kēhaulani Puʻu was appointed to the Board of Water Supply's (BWS) Board of Directors in December 2024.

Serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs since July 2024, Puʻu previously served as deputy director of the City & County of Honolulu's Department of Parks & Recreation and in various capacities over more than 12 years with Kamehameha Schools, including as Kealakūlia Division director in the schools’ community education division.

Puʻu is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa double majoring in Hawaiian studies and Hawaiian language, and a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Puʻu also holds a teaching certificate from the Kahuawaiola Indigenous Teacher Education Program at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. Puʻu is a kupa of Waiʻanae, Oʻahu, and has served her community as a Hawaiian language instructor at Leeward Community College, a kumu at Kula Kaiapuniʻo Nānākuli, and filled various roles at ʻAha Pūnana Leo.
