Starting January 1, 2017 credit card payments for non-residential, multi-family residential, and agricultural customers will no longer be accepted. Affected customers may use alternative methods of payment, such as cash, check, or automatic deductions from checking/savings accounts, to pay their bill.
This policy change will not impact single-family residential customers, who make up the majority of BWS ratepayers who pay with credit cards. Additionally, in 2017, BWS will be exploring other payment processing options to re-establish credit card acceptance for these customers.
