HXG Workshop: Xeric Holiday Wreath

xeric holiday wreathWith the festive holiday season rounding the corner, the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will offer two can’t-miss xeric holiday wreath-making classes. Participants will learn how less-thirsty, xeriscape plants can be used to create colorful and festive holiday decorations.

$5 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level
Free for supporting, corporate and lifetime memberships
We accept cash and checks.

Details

All participants should bring the following items: one round wreath form (straw-type, not foam, and no larger than 12-inch diameter), 50-80 floral “U” pins, clippers, containers to hold wreath materials (i.e. soda box), clippers, and any kind of ribbons or holiday embellishments you would like to decorate your wreath.

Registration full and closed as of November 14. 

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to the workshop or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email workshops@hbws.org to register. BWS security and workshop registration requires submittal of participant’s full name, home address, phone number, and email address where applicable.
