Public Education Programs

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) provides safe, dependable and affordable water now and into the future.

To meet this mission, the BWS offers public education programs via online meetings to help others understand and learn about Oahu's water resources. We continue to monitor the situation around the pandemic and will update this website when we are able to conduct in-person events.

Speaker Requests

tours speaker requestThe BWS accepts speaker requests from schools and community organizations. Through an online meeting, our staff can address various topics including the water cycle, conservation, water quality, climate change, xeriscaping, BWS careers and more!

Interest in our programs continues to grow. Requests should be made at least three weeks in advance. Meeting appointments depend on speaker availability. Please email your requests to We will reply as soon as we can.

"Keiki and staff were excited and remembered many things you reinforced many things we have been learning. Keiki were excited to share the coloring books and crayons with their families...(and) share the message of conservation."
