Water System Improvements on Hālupa Street

HONOLULU – MEI Corporation, the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Hālupa Street: 12-Inch Water Main project in the Foster Village area, is scheduled to begin work after August 19, 2024. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability for customers in the area.

The project will install approximately 2,000 feet of 12-inch water mains along Hālupa Street from Pūnihi Street to Hāloa Drive.

Working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
